The goal of Plano High School Theater is to provide our students with numerous opportunities to develop their acting, singing, dancing, musical and technical theater skills, through rigorous coursework, live performances, and high quality stage productions.

International Thespian Society - Troupe #1535
The honor society encourages students to attain a better mastery of the theatre arts and rewards those who achieve it with induction into the troupe. The troupe sponsors at least two good neighbor activities a year for the purpose of establishing good relationships with nearby dramatic groups and the local community. Thespian troupe meetings are held bimonthly throughout the school year.
The Illinois High School Theater Festival is a state-wide Festival event where students and teachers of theatre can share theatrical endeavors as well as learn more about the art. Every year about one-fourth of the high schools in the state participate in the Festival.
