EARLY RELEASE FOR APPOINTMENTS
We understand that at times, it may be difficult to schedule doctor/dentist/other appointments after school hours. WIth this in mind, and in an effort to ensure that your student in the classroom learning as long as possible; and taking into account the time that it can potentially take to find your student and have them in the main office in time for pick up, we ask that you please call ahead of time to request the student’s release from class. We ask for at least a 30 minute advance call for release, so that an Early Dismissal Pass can be delivered. Please note that if the student is in PE, it may take longer to reach the student and we also have to account for the time it may take him/her to change.
Also, if someone other than the parent is picking up the student, please provide us with the NAME & RELATIONSHIP to the student in advance. We will NOT be able to release to anyone other than the parent without your consent.
As a courtesy, we have also shared the Early Release handbook section below.
Thank you for your understanding. We strive to work together with parents to make your students successful at Plano High School!
