Space Harvest Ideathon is an international educational programme conducted under the “Space Seeds for Asian Future (SSAF)” framework as part of the Kibo-ABC Initiative. Kibo-ABC is an initiative involving space agencies and organisations from the Asia-Pacific region, including the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA).

The programme aims to encourage innovative ideas on suitable plant species (What to Grow) and cultivation methods (How to Grow) for food production in space. The initiative supports future human space exploration and habitation, including activities in low Earth orbit (LEO), on the Moon, and on Mars.

The best ideas and experimental proposals may be considered as potential future space experiment themes.

In Malaysia, the programme is jointly organised by Planetarium Negara and the Malaysian Space Agency (MYSA).
