Students interested in design, problem-solving, and real-world innovation are encouraged to learn more about our Project Lead The Way (PLTW) Engineering program. This multi-year pathway allows students to build foundational engineering skills through hands-on experiences with industry-standard software, 3D printing, computer modeling, and collaborative design challenges.
Courses include Introduction to Engineering Design, Principles of Engineering, and specialized options such as Aerospace Engineering, Civil Engineering and Architecture, and Digital Electronics. Seniors culminate their learning with Engineering Design and Development, a capstone course where they identify a real problem, develop a solution, and present their work to industry reviewers.
PLTW Engineering empowers students to think critically, innovate boldly, and prepare for future STEM opportunities. Interested students and families are encouraged to explore the program and see how PHS engineers are designing solutions for tomorrow.
