Private School Families & New to Parkway

Parkway School District offers gifted screening for 1st grade and older students who resides in the Parkway boundaries and plans on attending the program if criteria is met. If you are considering moving to Parkway screening can only occur if you follow the steps below and are a resident.

Student gifted screenings are conducted during the school year. We don't offer gifted screening over the summer.

Private School Families

Step 1: Register your child in the Parkway School District. 

Step 2: Email Parkway's lead registrar Cindy Wester that you are interested in gifted screening only.  Cindy's email is cwester@parkwayschools.net

Step 3: Once Dr. Mollie Glazer receives your registraton, she will pass it to the appropriate resident school. Click here to access the Parkway boundary finder.

Step 4: The gifted specialist will email a permission to test form.

Step 5: Please email any recent normed school testing. We may be able to use prior testing in the building level criteria.

Step 6: The gifted specialist will set up a time at the resident building for gifted screenings. The same process will be followed for our level 3 MOSAICS criteria. 

New to Parkway

Welcome to Parkway! Any student who is entering Parkway in 1st grade and new to Parkway 2nd graders will automatically participate in the screening process. For students who have participated in gifted programs in their previous school districts, please indicate on your registration form that you are interested in gifted testing. Additionally, please provide any prior gifted testing results from your previous district.
