Students who have been exposed to a second language through interactions at school, home or in their community are screened to assess the need for additional support related to acquiring the English language.
Upon registering a student, an appointment will be made to have your child assessed in all four domains of the English language (Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing), as well as complete a family interview that will help us better understand any needs that your child may exhibit.
Once the screening has been completed, a recommendation for placement will be made to a school that can best meet the needs of the student.
Transportation will be provided for any student who is placed at a school outside of their residential school.
