I am a big believer in exploring the world around you and experiencing German culture from right here in America!

If a student wants extra credit, any of the following opportunities are available (no pre-approval needed). To get credit, turn in a half-page reflection in English about the experience.

• Find an authentic German cultural festival. Experience something German! (Food, drink, shopping, etc.)
• Eat out at a German restaurant. Try something new and see if you like it!
• Attend a German music or dance performance.
• Attend a German art exhibition.
• Find an authentic German recipe and cook it at home. (Photo/video evidence of the student cooking and trying the food is required for this one!)
• Make a personal version of a music video we've shown in class. (No written reflection required for this one.)
• Find a German radio station/podcast and listen in German.
