In 5th Social Studies, we focus on learning the skills outlined in the Wisconsin social studies standards and use the National Social Studies C3 framework. Our social studies work focuses on critical thinking and and developing inquiry skills. We focus on history, geography, world cultures, and current events.

In 5th Grade, we do not have a specific textbook. We rely on a variety of different primary and secondary sources to gain a deeper understanding of the different ideas and contributions of people throughout history.
