What is ECRI?

Enhanced Core Reading Instruction or ECRI- is new this year to Conte and we are very excited! This program is used to take our Reading Street curriculum and enhance it in order to help our students achieve greater success with the reading program. We are using ECRI with our all of our students this year in grades K-2. The classroom teachers are using the ECRI lessons during their reading blocks and we are also using ECRI for intervention for students that may need some extra support. In addition to the whole group ECRI lesson students who need intervention services with also receive ECRI in a small group setting. Our goal is to make sure every student student looks, sounds and feels like a fluent reader!
