All dancers already attending this year's Intensive Summer Program, Youth Summer Intensive, or the second session of Company Experience have the option to attend excursions during their time in Pittsburgh. Each of these excursions are at an additional cost, include transportation to and from, and are chaperoned.
These excursions will be available through our Family Portal for all registered students, whether students are staying on campus or commuting!

Are excursions only for students staying at Chatham University?
No--all students (listed above by excursion) are welcome to attend the excursions, whether they are staying at Chatham, somewhere else, or are local!
What is included with the excursion?
Each excursion includes the admission/ticket, transportation to/from Chatham, and will be chaperoned. Dinner is included on the Gateway Clipper only. Please see the note about the concessions coupon for the Pirates game.
Do most students attend the excursions?
Over half of the students in the program attend every excursion. Some excursions like the Gateway Clipper will see most of the students in the program attending, regardless of where they are residing for the summer.
Can I ride the bus if I'm not staying at Chatham?
Yes. By signing up through PBT School, we will assume that you are riding the bus to the excursion. Commuters will be sent a meeting point at Chatham University as well as meeting times to receive their ticket and board the bus. If you would not be riding the bus for a certain reason, please contact the School Office. The bus will not make a stop at PBT.
If I don't go, can I get a refund?
Refunds are only granted if another student takes their ticket/spot in the excursion.
Are the times listed in the Family Portal exact?
All of the times listed are approximate. Pick-up and drop-off times will be communicated in advance of the excursion, as they will likely differ slightly from the listed times. This is just to give an idea of what to expect.

Sign ups will be available soon in the Family Portal.
Complete the following steps:
Login to your account in the Family Portal
Click "Find Classes"
Choose the excursion you are looking for. They are all titled with "ISP" and then the excursion name.
Click "Add to Cart"
Select Student
Click "Add" above the excursion title
To add other excursions, click "Continue Shopping." Repeat steps 3-6 until you have added all desired excursions.
Once you have added all desired excursions, click "Checkout Now."
Review and click "Accept Enrollment Fees and Continue." Please note these excursions will be due by the excursion deadline (see right).

Each excursion varies in availability and will be primarily on a first-come, first-serve basis. Once an excursion is at capacity, you are able to sign up to be on the waitlist in the event of another student withdrawing from the excursion.
