Mission Statement
The Guidance Department is committed to developing and implementing counseling and guidance programs to ensure the highest quality of services for students at Pitman High School. The focus of the Guidance Department is to help students acquire information in furthering their education and to help students develop those personal and social skills which are necessary to become successful, responsible and civic-minded members of our society.

Mobile Response and Stabilization Services (MRSS) provides immediate support for families with children up to the age of 21 who are experiencing escalating emotional or behavioral issues. Call toll free 877-652-7624 and ask for “Mobile Response Services”. Support is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and we can come into your home, or provide support by phone or video. Crisis interventions include de-escalation, service linkage, and short term stabilization management.
