Pitman High School has partnered with The Virtual High School (VHS, Inc.), a non-profit organization, dedicated to increasing educational opportunities for students everywhere. Through a unique network of schools and educators, students gain access to student-centered online education within a high quality, collaborative learning environment. VHS prepares students for college, careers, and life through supportive, instructor-led online and blended classroom experiences. The Virtual High School is accredited by both Middle States Association Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools (MSA-CESS), and AdvancED. VHS offers a catalog of 23 Advanced Placement® courses and over 200 course opportunities across all disciplines. At Pitman High School, courses are available to 11th and 12th grade students during a 15 week Fall or Spring Semester. Students are permitted to enroll in elective courses and report to the Media Center as part of their schedule, where they take part in their online course with students from around the country and world.
