What is Advanced Quantitative Reasoning (AQR)?

High school graduates need more mathematics than ever before, and they need to know how to use quantitative tools to solve problems in applied situations. This 12th-grade capstone course engages students in relevant problems and prepares them for higher education and the workplace.

Advanced Quantitative Reasoning (AQR) / Advanced Mathematical Decision Making (AMDM) follows Algebra II and emphasizes statistics and financial applications. It prepares students to use a variety of mathematical tools and approaches to model a range of situations and solve problems.
