Spelling Bee Update
We had a WONDERFUL Mathews' Spelling Bee last Friday. Forty-one participants participated in this incredible event. We have some amazing spellers at Mathews. Our runner up is Om N (5th grade). Our first place finisher is Ryan S (5th Grade).
Ryan represented Mathews at the District Spelling Bee on 12/7. He finished in the top 3! He will represent the District at the next round in February. We are so excited for him and so happy for his success.

SO MUCH TO CELEBRATE! Congratulations to our Chess Team and Robotics Team!
Our Mathews' Chess Team won FIRST PLACE - TEAM Division on November 19th! Congratulations!
The Mathews' Robotics Club placed 4th at the North Texas Qualifying Tournament! 12.10.22
They worked very hard and qualified for the next level of competition.
We wish you all the very best!
Congratulations to the TEAM and their COACHES! (Ms. Richards & Mr. Tracy who won the Coach/Mentor Award!
Thank you PTA for our WONDERFUL Winter Party! We loved the hot cocoa bar and taking photos with our friends!
Afterwards we made pomanders to help spread holiday cheer during our Tech Free Friday!
