SBCC Insurance Liability and Waiver

1. Email the following to your instructor and copy Curtis Bieber, bieber@sbcc.edu, and Adrienne Betty, aabetty@pipeline.sbcc.edu.

   • Description or storyboard of the scene(s) to be filmed at the location

   • Location and dates

   • Additionally Insured name and address for the certificate of insurance

2. Once your instructor approves your request, forward that email approval to Adrienne Betty, aabetty@pipeline.sbcc.edu along with any project details such as location, script, schedule, etc. NOTE: It is best to zip files instead of sharing Google links.

3. Follow-up with Adrienne Betty, aabetty@pipeline.sbcc.edu, (805) 965-0581 Ext.4266. Please allow 3-4 weeks for processing and for the Additionally Insured Certificate of Insurance. The policy covers up to $1,000,000 and the deductible is $2500, so you are still financially responsible for $2500 if your production needs to file a claim. Our policy does not cover third party (non-SBCC) rentals.
