ABOUT US

Why are we addressing MTSS?

MTSS is the umbrella that covers all student services and supports provided by a district. This includes, but is not limited to: RTI, Special Education, SST, 504, Gifted, ELL, Core Instruction, Social Emotional Learning, PBIS, etc.

It is a framework recognized by ESSA to support operational and effective supports, programs, and interventions for ALL students in ALL subgroups in ALL sites within our systems.

We are addressing the identified gap in "Research to Practice" by applying implementation principles to ensure proficiency and efficiency with our MTSS programs.

What is the purpose of this site?

The purpose of this site is to serve as a repository of resources to support districts that participate in the

MTSS Collaborative or Academy.

Please check back often as this site is edited frequently to stay current with information from national and state experts.

See the table of contents at the top right of the page.

This site is designed to support leaders of MTSS/RTI in each Pioneer RESA system. The contents include information shared at collaborative meetings and professional learning sessions specific to MTSS. Information is organized by specific processes required within the overall implementation framework.
