How to Unblock Pop-Ups

Our software interfaces best with Google Chrome browsers, please enable pop-ups in your browser settings to ensure you can proceed with viewing Moodle content.

Please see below instructions on how to allow pop-ups in Windows in your browser settings.

Chrome: Turn pop-ups on or off

• On your computer, open Chrome.

• At the top right, click on the three dots ~~> Settings.

• Under "Privacy and security," click Site Settings.

• Scroll down to "Content" at the bottom of the page and Click "Pop-ups and redirects".

• At the top, turn the setting to Allowed or Blocked.

Mozilla Firefox: Turn pop-ups on or off

To access the pop-up blocker settings:

• Click the menu button  and select Settings

• Click the menu button  and select Settings.

• Select the Privacy & Security panel.

• Go down to the Permissions section.

  • 1. Uncheck the box next to Block pop-up windows to disable the pop-up blocker altogether.

    2.  Click the Exceptions… button to the right of Block pop-up windows to open a dialog box to choose which sites are allowed to display pop-ups.

Safari: Turn pop-ups on or off

• To enable cookies on your Mac, start by opening Safari.

• Click Safari in the menu bar and select Preferences to open the Safari General preferences screen.

• Click the Privacy tab to open the Safari Privacy settings.

• Clear the check mark in front of Block all cookies to enable cookies in Safari.

• Close Preferences to save your changes.

Microsoft Edge: Turn pop-ups on or off

• Open the Edge Browser ,tap the three horizontal dots at the top right.

• Select "settings", then choose "cookies and site permissions."

• Scroll down to "Pop-ups and redirects".

• Turn on the setting for "Block(recommended)".

• Click "Add" next to "Allow".

• Enter the address of the Help Centre for allowing pop-ups.

• Click "Add".

Microsoft Internet Explorer 10/11 (Windows 7/8)

• Open Internet Explorer.

• From the Tools menu, select Pop-up Blocker → Pop-up Blocker Settings. The Pop-up Blocker Settings dialog box opens.

• Click Add. The selected website is added to the list of Allowed sites.

• Click Close to close the Pop-up Blocker Settings dialog box.
