Homework

Homework is listed here and in their planners which are stamped by me.  Please make sure your student is completing homework.   

Many of these assignments will be entered for a grade. Ten points are deducted for every day it is late, and after 3 days it is not accepted.  Please see the grading policy under Classes/Assignments and Schedule for more information.

Students may have some time to work on homework in class.  If it is not done, these assignments will be due the next day.

Starting this week (10/19) students will be graded on iReady every 2 weeks.  They need to have 2 reading lessons and 2 math lessons per week passed at 80% or higher to get credit.  Each grade will go into Reading or Math every 2 weeks, and that will be a completion grade based on 4 lessons total for the 2 week time frame.  Students that pass 4 lessons will get 100, students that pass 3 will get 75, etc.

Science:  Today in science we are starting an in class project.  Students will be given time to make a pamphlet about either earthquakes, volcanoes, or tsunamis.  This is due 11/6, but it should be worked on and completed in school.
