About Your Teacher

Hi!  I’m Amanda Holland and I am very excited to be your child’s teacher! I live in Kings Mountain with my husband, Brad. We have 4 wonderful children and have recently become grandparents.. This is my second year at PCA in a teaching capacity, but it feels like I am returning home! I have many wonderful memories of my own children attending PCA , and I am the proud parent of a student from PCA's first graduating class!  I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from Gardner-Webb University, and earned a graduate certificate through UNC Charlotte. I have over 13 years of experience working in early education. I aim to create a safe learning environment where all children feel comfortable to be themselves and develop a love of learning.  I believe in setting high expectations for each student,  and fostering a resilient mindset as we learn and grow together. I will be sending home a weekly newsletter to provide you with information about what we are learning in the classroom, as well as share important upcoming dates. I look forward to beginning our Kindergarten adventure!
