Students are responsible for their make-up work. Each student can find missed assignments on Google Classroom or their school desk. It is their responsibility to locate their work upon returning to school. Students are allowed 1 day to make-up their work for each day they are absent.
If a student is absent on the day of scheduled quiz or exam or the date a written assignment is due, that work must be made up the day they return or at the discretion of the teacher. Grades will be entered as a zero (0) until they are made up.
10 points will be deducted each day an assignment is late. Grades will be entered as a zero until the late work is received. After three days, the grade will remain a zero.
We are beginning a new unit this semester. Unit 5 consists of angles and triangles. Students will be able to draw geometric shapes with given conditions. They will be able to identify if conditions will make a unique triangle, more than one triangle, or no triangle. They will learn to write and solve simple equations for unknown angles.
Students will need to complete two "my path" Math lessons weekly on IReady. Students will be graded for this. 100=2 IReady completed. 50= 1 IReady completed. 0= no IReady completed.
We will begin Unit 5
We will begin learning to measure angles using a protractor. Unit 5 is concentrated on angles and traingles. This is gonna be fun!!
Please remember to complete TWO IReady "my path" tests in MATH WEEKLY
