Students are responsible for their make-up work. Each student can find missed assignments on Google Classroom or their school desk. It is their responsibility to locate their work upon returning to school. Students are allowed 1 day to make-up their work for each day they are absent.
If a student is absent on the day of scheduled quiz or exam or the date a written assignment is due, that work must be made up the day they return or at the discretion of the teacher. Grades will be entered as a zero (0) until they are made up.
10 points will be deducted each day an assignment is late. Grades will be entered as a zero until the late work is received. After three days, the grade will remain a zero.
We have now begun Unit 6 Area, Surface Area, Cross Sections and Volume. This Unit is divided into four segments.
Students will need to complete two "my path" Math lessons weekly on IReady. Students will be graded for this. 100=2 IReady completed. 50= 1 IReady completed. 0= no IReady completed.
We are continuing Unit 6 this week. This unit will contain area, surface area, cross sections, and volume. Students will be able to say:
❑ I can solve volume problems for right prisms and pyramids.
❑ I can solve surface area problems for right prisms and pyramids.
❑ I can solve real world problems involving area (triangles, quadrilaterals, polygons, and
composed figures.)
❑ I can solve real world problems involving volume.
❑ I can solve real world problems involving surface area.
Please remember to complete TWO IReady "my path" tests in MATH WEEKLY
