Welcome to our class! 

Update for the week of April 20-24:

Last week, we worked on finishing reading Frankenstein. There was a quiz.

This week, there will be a second quiz on the text that we are reading. In addition to this, there will be a unit test on Wednesday, along with a Classwork grade on constructed responses for this unit. Also, the outline for your Frankenstein essays are due on April 27.

Following this unit, we will begin review and potentially reading Hannah Coulter.

Update for the week of April 20-24:

Last week, we finished Unit 7 in AP Classroom, which deal with using correct grammar and mechanics as you are structuring your argument for the FRQs on the AP English Language and Composition Exam. We also continued working on The Crucible.

This week, we are going to work on Unit 8, which is where we start bringing everything together that we have learned in preparation for your AP exam in May. We are also going to work on finishing The Crucible. When we do, there will be a second quiz and a unit test. We will also have at least one Classwork grade this week.
