Update for the week of May 4-8
Last week, we finished reading Hannah Coulter. I will be entering the comprehension questions as a grade next week.
The rough draft of your Frankenstein essays are due next week. These will be entered as a quiz grade with you receiving full credit if they are submitted on time. I will send you a rubric with feedback, and I will leave you feedback on your essay in the days that follow.
We are also going to start some intense EOC prep. I will be grading assignments at random, so it will be your responsibility to get these completed/make them up if you are absent. You must be sure that you give me all that you have the next two weeks because I know that you can, and will, do awesome things! I believe in all you, and I need all of you to believe in yourselves.
As a reminder, the rough draft of your Frankenstein essays are due Wednesday, May 6 by the time I see you in class. These will be a Quiz grade! This MUST be on time!
Update for the week of May 4-8
Last week, we finished reading The Crucible. There was a quiz, a test, and a Classwork grade on a rhetorical analysis assignment. We also started doing AP exam review and prep.
This week, we are going to continue reviewing. I know that all of you are tired, but I need you to give me all you've got up until your AP exam date and/or final exam. You can, and will, do amazing things, but I need you to buckle down, "lock in", and prove to everyone, including yourself, that you can do this!
There will be grades given at random as we are reviewing. Additionally, your independent reading essays are due Sunday, 10. That's in one week. I will not be using class time to complete this assignment, so you MUST do this on your own. As a reminder, this will be a test grade. Please see me with any questions that you may have/help that you might need!
As a reminder, your independent reading essay is due Sunday, May 10 at 11:59 PM.
