Updates for the week of October 12-16:

Last week, we finished reading Inferno. There was a quiz, a test, and constructed responses. We also started reading Macbeth. 

This week, there will be a quiz (But, the grade won't go in Infinite Campus until the next nine weeks.)

This unit is short, so be mindful of that!

Don't forget that Thursday and Friday are teacher workdays! Enjoy your extra-long weekend!

Last week, we finished talking about classroom management. There was a quiz and a test.

This week, we will begin talking about formative and summative assessments, what makes a "good" assessment, and why it is so important to assess regularly (if not every day). Yes, we did have this discussion during the lesson planning unit, but this unit is designed to go even deeper. As teachers, you will be assessing in various forms every single day. Get comfortable with this concept!
