Meet Mrs. Burress

Name: Stephanie Burress

Birthday: August 16

Hometown: Morganton, NC

This is my seventh year teaching, and my fourth year at PCA. I've taught 5th grade science and history, 6th, 7th and 9th grade science, and 6th and 7th grade math. This year I will be teaching 6th and 8th grade science. Science and math have always been my favorite subjects and I'm excited to teach science again.

I grew up in Morganton, NC and I love this part of the state. I went to Western Carolina University and graduated with a B.S. Ed, minors and concentrations in Earth and Environmental Science. My husband was in the Army for 8 years and we've lived in Enterprise AL and Fayetteville NC. While we are happy to have had the opportunity to travel and meet so many different people, but the mountains are my favorite and will always feel like home.

My husband and I will be married for 11 years this October. We have three boys; Conner is 9 and will be in fourth grade at PCA, Caleb is 7 and will be in second grade at PCA and Joseph is 5, he will start kindergarten at PCA this year.
