Description: In a group of 4 or 5, build the tallest structure that is sturdy and stays up for at least 1 minute. The structure is built solely on straws and 2 feet of masking tape. It must stand alone, and the only thing that it touches is the floor.
Brainstorm: We discussed that our towers, at the end, was supposed to look like the Eiffel Tower.
Procedure: We first started to build the base of the tower, a quare but then we decided that it should be a triangle because it used less straws. After that we started building the tower. We made four stick's of straws and then taped tham at the tope together, and at the bottom connected to the base. Then, we just added a bunch of straws at the top to make t really tall like the Eiffel tower.
SOUL Reflection: S-Strengths: We collaborated well and conducted the procedure amazingly. O-Opportunity: We could have been better with time management. U-Understanding: We understood how to make the tower from not falling over and to make it more sturdier. L-Limitation: The straws were used already and they were very bendy and wasn't sturdy.
WISCR: We were self-motivated and had a good mindset so we thought we were going to build the tallest tower. An because of our attitude and self-motivation is why we won.
