Position: Hurdler & Sprinter
Statistics & Accomplishments:
Played soccer (defender, midfielder, and striker) and is the track team captain (sprints and hurdles)
Favorite Pine-Richland Memory:
Scoring first soccer goal at home, getting first in the heat and the first time competing in 110-meter hurdles

Statistics & Accomplishments:
Four-year letter winner and captain of the volleyball team along with being named All-Conference Setter. Three-year letter winner for track and field, two-time captain, and competed in WPIAL Championships in 2019.

Sophia Olszewski
Position: Runner
Statistics & Accomplishments:
Received the Heart Award in 10th grade; varsity runner for cross country from 10th-12th grade, and varsity track runner for 9th and 10th grade, and a varsity runner for track in ninth and 10th grade; track and field (runs the 3200-meter and the 4x800); and cross country (runs the 5K).
Favorite Pine-Richland Memory:
"The meets were always long but really fun. I’ll also never forget my sophomore year of XC and track; that year I really bonded with my teammates and found running to be a great outlet."
Alexandru Pelinescu
Position: Sprinter
Statistics & Accomplishments:
Placing second in the heat for the 200-meters and third in the heat for the 100-meters. He also runs the 400-meter.

I ran a 400-Meter in 58 seconds and was awarded defensive MVP for soccer.

Position: Track & Field Runner, Baseball First Baseman & Outfielder, & Football Running Back and Linebacker

Two-Year Varsity Football Lettermen, Two-Time Football WPIAL Champions, and Football State Champion

Winning the State and WPIAL Championships for football and beating North Allegheny twice this year

Position: Track and Field (Pole Vault, Triple Jump, and Long Jump) & Gymnastics

PR of 8’11” for pole vault, qualified for WPIALs last year (2019)
Favorite Pine-Richland Memory:
My favorite memory is the Pine-Richland Invitational. Spending the whole day on the track cheering on my team was so much fun!

I really enjoy not only competing but watching other athletes at invitationals.
