Boot Camp

Once a quarter (we have 8 quarters in stars)
All students learn the same skill
Lasts about a week

Artist Summary

Writing assignments
Used to makeup absences
Can be assigned if students want to "take a break" from art making

Challenge

Pick a specific theme or art material to make an artwork
Used during the first 1/2 of the year
Students can use any material
Mini skill lessons where needed

Open Theme

Pick a very open theme or student picks their own theme
Used during the second 1/2 of the year
Students can use any material
Mini skill lessons where needed

Grading

Two Grades Every Week

Participation

30% of your grade
Instructor grades this

Portfolio

70% of your grade
Student makes TWO posts to their portfolio every week (you can do these on Fridays)
