Trupti is a highly qualified literacy professional with advanced academic preparation and extensive teaching experience. She holds a Master of Arts in Reading from Teachers College at Columbia University. She started her career in Pine Bush School District at Pakanasink Elementary School in 2003 as an AIS Reading Interventionist (K-5). In 2018, she became a PreK-5 Literacy Coach in Pine Bush, currently working in all four elementary schools.

Maria brings over two decades of invaluable experience from the NYC Department of Education, where she dedicated 21 years to teaching different grade levels, served as a STEM teacher and later as the Elementary Math Coach for K-5. Certified to teach students from Pre-K through Grade 6, Maria has a deep passion for fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and creativity in young learners. Now in her third year with our district, she continues to collaborate with teachers to share her expertise and enthusiasm for STEAM education. Maria is committed to supporting innovative teaching practices and empowering educators to unlock their students’ potential in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.
