Printing Setup and Configuration Instructions
for non-district managed Mac computers
Step 1 - Download and install updated Papercut (PUA) client software
Step 3 - Download and install the printers
• PCS Black and White Laser Printers (PUA)
• PCS Color Laser Printers (PUA)
You must install the printer drivers in Step 2 or these printers will fail to install.
Step 4 (Optional) - If the Papercut software or printer installers fail to launch...
When you try to run the installers for the printers, you will likely see a warning message and the installer will fail to launch. To force the installers to launch, you must do the following:
• Open System Preferences
• Open the "Security & Privacy" options
• Select the General tab
• Click the locked padlock icon at the bottom of the window and unlock it with your username and password
• Under the "Allow applications downloaded from", select the Anywhere option as shown in the graphic below
• Close the System Preferences window and relaunch the installers
