Planning Committees

The 2021 Pilot Point ISD Bond is a comprehensive proposal that was developed by two committees, the Long-Range Facilities Planning Committee and the Bond Planning Committee. The 59 members of these committees consisted of parents and grandparents, current and former educators, business owners, civic leaders, and taxpayers from across the district.

The Long-Range Facilities Committee studied demographic reports, enrollment projections, transportation needs, future land needs and a comprehensive assessment of every campus in Pilot Point ISD. Ultimately the committee used this information to present a list of priorities to the Board of Trustees and recommended that a Bond Committee be formed to address whether a bond should be called.

The Bond Committee studied the priorities set by the Long-Range Facilities Committee as well as district finances and tax impact scenarios to ultimately recommend that the Pilot Point ISD Board of Trustees call for a November 2021 Bond.

Below are the community members who volunteered their time and talents to help develop the 2021 Pilot Point ISD Bond.
