The Pilgrim Multi Academy Trust has brought together a variety of mostly free resources accessible for our pupils both at school and at home.
Our planning is based on the NCCE's (The National Centre of Computing Education) Teach Computing framework
Since April 2020, we have become a part of LGFL/TRUSTNet IT provider. This has enabled us to work across the trust using the same resources and collaborate on a variety of projects.
A brilliant website full of ready to teach plans for KS1 and KS2 classes. Almost every lesson pack is linked to our LGfL and G-Suite tools (see the spreadsheet below). Within the resources for each strand you can find a useful learning graph as well as an overview.
To be able to use the free planning and resources, you need to create an account.
The website also provides valuable training for teaching computing to both KS1 and KS2 pupils.
This scheme of work is based on the Rising Stars' 'Switched On Computing' scheme and adapted to our MAT teaching of computing.
The scheme has got useful links to a variety of resources related to teaching Computing and online safety.
To be able to view this scheme you need to be logged in to your school's G-Suite account.
Great website for teaching computing online as well as offline.
A great website for teaching computing with some helpful tutorials for less confident staff.
