Sixth-grade Girls’ Basketball

She shoots she scores! They win! The sixth-grade girls' basketball team is a team I’m proud to be on. My team works really hard and doesn’t give up when it gets hard. My teammates and I are proud of our team and are working towards being champs. We are like all teams: we’re sad when we lose, but we take it as an opportunity to get better. We know every team loses. Even NBA players and teams have bad days. Losing is just another one of those opportunities to get better and be a better player. Don’t get me wrong, I like winning as much as the next guy, but it’s fine to lose once in a while. It happens to everybody.

Every time we play we’ve gotten better. Just last year to this year we’ve improved tremendously. My team is full of hard-working girls whose names are Grace, Emma, Hanna, Taylor, Jordan, and Mckinley. My practices are full of laughter but also hard workers. My coaches names are Matt Henry and Mrs. Frieden. I love my team and am looking forward to a great season.
