Greetings! 

I am Abby Jolly. This is my third year at Pickett County High School where I teach English I and English II. I taught English I at Livingston Academy High School for six years, and I am very excited for this change in setting. My husband, Scott, and I have two small children named Jett (4) and Millie (2), which are a huge reason that I made the decision to move to PCHS. I wanted to be closer to my kids! 

I am a firm believer that stories have the power to change your life. So, I am excited for the variety of texts in both English I and English II. We will follow along with the Pearson Curriculum, which will prepare students for the End of Course test in Spring and towards future literary classes at this level. I have attached a copy of the units we will cover this year; however, the curriculum plan is subject to change based on class needs and standards.
