My name is Ms. Regina Payne and I have been a teacher for 26 years. I have taught first grade for 14 years, kindergarten for 11 years, and fourth grade for 1 year. I taught at Jasper Elementary School for 19 years and this will be my eighth year to teach at Tate Elementary School. I graduated from North Georgia College with a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education. I am a member of the Picken's County Reading Council and the Professional Association of Georgia Educators. I also have a son who is 17 years old and a senior at Pickens County High School.

I have a true love for teaching children of all ages and I enjoy seeing each child reach their goals. I will strive to meet the needs of each individual child and I look so forward to helping each child grow and learn in a positive atmosphere. I also look forward to working with the parents. Parent involvement is so critical to the success of a child. Let's work together to make this a great year that gives the children the foundation they need to be successful in the future!
