It is my pleasure to welcome you to our classroom! I am very excited about all of the exciting things to come this school year! This will be my 12th year of teaching and my 8th year teaching first grade. I have taught Kindergarten through fifth grade. My true passion, however, is working in the early elementary grades where students develop those foundational skills that they need in order to be successful in the future.

I received my Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education from Kennesaw State University in 2008 and I received my Master's Degree from Piedmont College in 2011.

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband of thirteen years, Nate, is a project manager for a local corporation and our children. Our son, Sawyer, will be in second grade, and our daughter Olivia is 2.
