Programs

Concert Band

At R.F. Staples, we are proud to offer concert band for all grade levels. Some highlights of the concert band program are:

- All concert band classes are during the scheduled school day.
  - - No one needs to arrange for a ride home.
- Instruments are provided by the school.
  - - Low rental costs, and home practice instruments can be arranged pending availability.
- Both popular music, and traditional concert band literature are explored.
  - - Well rounded musical education leads to versatility in performance abilities for all students.
- Opportunity to travel.
  - - We went to Banff on a performance tour in Spring of 2019.
    - All students have the opportunity to take part in trips and retreats. This year, everyone will be going to Camp Nakamun for an overnight band camp.
