UPDATE (8/25): Arizona Western College is no longer participating in the 6th year of this program. If you are a student in the AWC area, please contact us at Phoenix College for support. If you are a Phoenix College student and know of an employer locally in the WAC area who may have an IT internship opportunity, please contact us, and we'll initiate contact with the employer. The majority of our identified employers are in the Phoenix Area.

How to Get Started

Joining the program is straightforward! Follow these steps to start your journey:

Step 1: Register Your Interest in the Internship Program

Don’t wait—employers actively seek students, and registering now ensures you're ready when opportunities arise. Early registration puts you first in line for exciting internships with leading organizations.  Employers are already starting to recruit students for internships during the academic year and summer—prime time to gain valuable experience when your schedule is more flexible. Registering early gives you the best chance to secure the opportunity that aligns with your career goals.

Complete the Internship Registration Form Below

Fill out the internship registration form to share details about your industry interests, desired experience type (online, in-person, hybrid), and specific fields you’re passionate about.

Step 2: Complete the HR Application Through the Phoenix College Jobs Website

You can visit the Phoenix College HR website and submit your application, including a resume.
Click here to complete the online HR application. 

Step 3: Completed the HR and Resume Onboarding Process

Once the onboarding process is complete, please keep reading your email for when internship opportunities become available, for which you can apply.  The employer will then interview and select who they want to provide an internship opportunity to. This is an essential step because, as employers come on board, we will email students who have completed the onboarding process, making you aware of the opportunities.
