Episode 1

Stress is something that is par for the course for many students in higher education, but how does a global pandemic affect an already difficult experience?

In part one of this interview, we explore the immediate effect of COVID-19 on student's lives before they hit the classroom. Issues like job loss, housing displacement, mental health deterioration, and the virus itself pose immediate issues to students even before group projects and late assignments. Now a year in, we talk today with three student leaders from our college campus to see just how challenging it is to continue their education through this pandemic.

Episode 2

With a world in lockdown, every facet of life has taken a drastic change. Education is no different and in this second part of our interview with student leaders, we hear first-hand how students and educators have struggled. From learning online video conferencing tools to scrambling for internet access, our guests expanded on the difficulties of transitions in-person learning to a virtual environment.

Episode 3

Even at home, the pursuit of education is resilient, but it is not so easily attained. Following parts one and two of our discussion, we talk to our guests about some of the interactions they have had with educators throughout this lockdown. Interactions like these have the power to both elevate students and conversely bring doubt to their abilities.
