Transcript Request
Current and former students may order transcripts from the Counseling Center. "Official" transcripts are embossed, signed and placed in a sealed envelope. Please allow one day for requests to be processed. Due to confidentiality, transcripts must be requested in person or in writing by the student or former student. Transcript request forms are available in the counseling center. Please allow sufficient time for processing.
For current students, the first three (3) are free, but postage fees will be charged if the transcripts are mailed. After three, the charge for each transcript will be $2 if picked up at the counseling center, or $2.50 if it is mailed. For past students, transcripts are $2 if picked up at the Guidance Center, or $2.50 if it is mailed.
In all cases, prepayment is required to process the request. For further questions, please contact 541-929-3211.
College Athletics
NCAA Clearinghouse- if you are planning on being a Div 1 or Div 2 student athlete, you must register here. Also, please let your counselor know you are registering.
Letter of Recommendation
Many seniors will need a letter of recommendation from their school counselor or a teacher. If you are in need of a recommendation for a scholarship or college application, please follow these guidelines -
The first step is to ask if a teacher is willing and able to write a letter of recommendation for you. Please do not assume that any teacher will automatically write you a letter. It is your responsibility to talk with recommenders face-to-face. Staff do not want to receive a notification from Common App that you have listed them as a recommender and you have yet to talk to them.
Please give us a minimum of two weeks to write a letter. The more time-the better the letter. Please do not expect to get a letter when your due date is in a few days. Lack of planning on your part should not create stress and an emergency on your recommender.
To request a letter of recommendation, please fill out this form a PDF document.
