Phillips Postsecondary Enrollment Data

Our district’s Academic and Career Planning program, including the career pathways, help students obtain the academic and career preparation needed for post secondary education and workforce. In combination with Northcentral Technical College, students are able to obtain college credits and, in some cases Technical College Certificates, as we offer 19 Dual Credit Enrollment courses and multiple academies through Start College Now program. Additionally, we offer three Advanced Placement courses in-building and students also have the opportunity to take AP courses through our partnership with Rural Virtual Academy.

According to the 2021-2022 data in WISEdash, Phillips continues to remain close to the state trend for graduation rates. The percentage of students who go on for post-secondary education remain slightly lower than the state average (44% vs 51%). We continue to observe our students utilizing opportunities offered while in high school, like School-to-Work, Youth Apprenticeships and technical college academies, as a pathway to the workforce after high school. Of the 44% who went on for post-secondary education 25% enrolled in a technical college and 75% enrolled in a 4-year university.
