In compliance with the course Trends, Networks, and Critical Thinking in the 21st Century, the Grade 12 students designed a knowledge curation project containing all the lessons discussed throughout the first trimester of the academic year 2020-2021. The website housing the project was inaugurated on September 24, 2021, via Zoom Video Conferencing.
The need to take part in ensuring a participative and fair election intensifies as we come closer to May 2022. This webinar discussed by Mrs. Richelle Sy-Kho aims to highlight the importance of fact-checking and track record review as a voter and a citizen. This program is set to be held this February 17, 2022, starting at 11:00 AM open to all PCC Main employees and SHS students, where the audience will be able to discuss and engage on key issues concerning information quality and disorder as contextualized in the status quo of the Philippine political climate.
The annual research defense by the Humanities and Social Sciences students was held on the dates March 29 and April 20, 2022. A total of three research papers ranging across the themes of gender, media, sociology, and many more are presented before a panel of expert examiners. Voice of tomorrow: HUMSS CUlminating program 2022
A role model is a standard that should be set high, and as a youth, these standards must be met with serious intentions, especially when the country is in need of a leader in facing these critical times. In-this pre-election survey and webinar with our keynote speaker Mr. Michael Anjielo Tabuyan, we will discuss these findings and educate students about how one’s vote is crucial, especially as a responsive youth of the country and decide their ideal leader based on their beliefs.
Being a HUMSS student comes with the social responsibility to provide for the needs of others. This program manifests the lessons that were learned by the students, which will culminate them into becoming future leaders of the society, as well as helping out the community. In these times, the Humanities and Social Sciences students imbued the value of charity by launching an outreach program for the Lolos and Lolas of Missionary of Charity by donating goods and giving them the love that they deserve.
