Cell Phone Policy

In our current society, I do understand the need for your student to have a cell phone. Here at William H. Ziegler, we follow the policy set forth by the School District of Philadelphia, which states that students are not permitted to use cell phones during school hours.

Upon entering class each day, students will be required to:

  • Turn off cell phones
  • Place them inside of their assigned locker (homeroom students)
  • Room 214's students will be expected to leave cell phone inside of their homeroom class.

*Students may turn their cell phones on as they exit the school building at the end of the day.

EXCEPTIONS: There may be components of our math/science lesson plans that will allow students to access the activity through cell phone use.

*Parents and Guardians, I ask for your support of this policy. Thank you in advance.
