Welcome Back!

It is with enthusiasm to support the Philadelphia Military Academy School Counseling Department. As the school counselor, I look forward to cultivating new relationships and building a robust department coupled with the Student Support Services (i.e., nurse, and school psychologist) to subscribe to the students’ needs. I have a keen understanding of developing relationships with young people through civic responsibility, character development, and community engagement.

Over the years, I have acquired a plethora of knowledge through a rigorous comprehensive developmental school counseling program which entails the following key areas: Academic enrichment, college readiness, career exploration, and social-emotional development. My educational background consists of a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, a Masters of Education in School Counseling, and a Masters of Education in Educational Leadership and Urban Principal. I am certain that we, as a collective effort, could share our experiences to encourage young people to use their strengths as leverage to further their expectations and opportunities.

Students and Parents, I have sent a Google Hangout invitation to “All” the students in its entirety to join the Counselor’s Roundtable Classroom. Parents, I encourage you to encourage your student(s) to join the classroom. When students accept the invitation, they have the option to send the parents an invitation. As a collective, PMA, encourage parents to join, not only, the Counselor’s Roundtable Classroom, but their scheduled course Google Classroom.

Like, the PMA Counselor's Roundtable website, the Counselor’s Roundtable Google Meet classroom will consist of pertinent information concerning the 2021-2022 academic year, college readiness, career exploration, and social-emotional learning resources.
