ALL SENIORS ARE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION TO THE COMMUNITY COLLEGE OF PHILADELPHIA. (The school counselor is the point person to fulfill this requirement).

Students should expect to have homework assigned every day in all subjects. Weekend assignments are given at the discretion of individual teachers. Students should see their teachers, and/or school counselor if they need help organizing and completing their work in a reasonable amount of time.
Daily homework assignments should take 30-45 minutes per class to complete for freshmen and sophomores and 45 minutes per class for juniors and seniors.
Homework assignments are posted daily on the school’s online student portal and the students' Google Classroom.
Up-to-date homework information is provided for both current and past assignments, enabling students to keep pace with the work and allowing parents to monitor assignments as needed.
PMA Academic Departments are great resources for our students to achieve excellence in "All" disciplines. Each department offers academic assistance and/or tutoring (i.e. Mathematics, Science, English, Spanish, History, etc...).
The Academic Departments encourage students that are receiving below a "C-" average to attend tutoring. With this in mind, the student and student's parent are required to attend an Academic Conference with the school counselor and the respective teacher(s).
The team (i.e. student, student's parent, teacher(s), and school counselor) would develop an Academic Plan and follow-up within a month to discuss the progress.
