Hello PAS!

I am beyond thrilled to begin an exciting year of music-making here at PAS. I look forward to building on our progress last year and making new memories and traditions.

About me

My name is Erica Zimmer and this will be my fifth year teaching for the School District of Philadelphia. Before teaching in public schools, I spent 14 years working as a vocal performer, singing opera and musical theater. I also taught private voice lessons and beginning piano to kids and adults.

I am originally from Indianapolis, IN, where I am a proud Colts football fan. Sorry, Eagles fans. I received my Bachelor of Music (BM) degree from Miami University in Ohio, and a Masters of Music (MM) from Florida State University.

I am looking forward to making music with your students!
