The STEP team works alongside students, school staff, and families to help figure out what may be stopping students from learning and find ways to help them succeed.

-Help the school better understand what you and your child need to be successful
-Help advocate for your child’s social or emotional needs
-Visit you and your child in the home to provide support
-Help you find solutions to family difficulties or concerns that affect your child at school
-Assist with getting resources for your family related to homelessness, mental health services, assistance with medical coverage, and more
-Help you understand challenges affecting your child
-Communicate and plan with your team of community supports and mental health providers with your permission
-Help advocate for your child’s social or emotional needs
