DEFINITIONS


SYNCHRONOUS LEARNING

Allows the students and teacher to interact in real-time via Google Meet in order to engage, review, collaborate on instructional material and assignments.

This is live learning in real time where teachers and students interact together.



ASYNCHRONOUS LEARNING

Allows the students to access the content and participate in learning activities at different times. We use Google Classroom to facilitate any or all asynchronous learning tasks.

Asynchronous activities may include: Discussion boards, watching a video clip, recorded lectures, quizzes, readings, etc. Think of it as learning on-demand.
