4 corn tortillas, cut into triangles for chips
1 T taco seasoning
1 can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1/4 cup salsa
1/4 cup nonfat sour cream
1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1 cup lettuce, shredded
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
Lay tortillas pieces out in a single layer on a baking sheet. Set aside while making the dip.
Place beans in a small mixing bowl, add taco seasoning, and mash with a potato masher. Spread beans over the bottom of the baking dish.
Pour salsa over the beans.
Gently spread sour cream over the beans and salsa.
Sprinkle cheese on top.
Place both the baking sheet with tortilla pieces and the dip in the preheated oven. Bake for about 8 minutes or until the tortilla pieces are crisp and dip is bubbly.
Sprinkle lettuce over dip and serve with the tortilla chips.
