In Spring of 2024, students at Crossroads Accelerated Academy collaborated with Fox Chase Farm and the School District of Philadelphia central office to redesign and landscape the gardens at 440 North Broad Street.
Many of the plantings were indigenous to the region, and students developed webpages and QR code maps to educate visitors about native flora and raise awareness of conscientious, responsible landscaping of non-native species.
