Inner Strength Foundation for Teen Mindfulness
We offer therapy and support for children, adolescents and their families for depression, anxiety, trauma, obsessive-compulsive disorders, body-focused repetitive behaviors (hair-pulling, skin-picking), tics, and more. In conjunction with these therapies, we also provide LGBTQ+ affirmative therapy for youth.
We focus on providing evidence-based psychological services (e.g., Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Parent Management Training, Exposure and Response Prevention, etc.) for these concerns. We tailor treatment to the unique needs of each family.
We offer low-cost fees that are determined based on family income , with therapy sessions from $10-$20 and $25 intake sessions. We also offer evening and weekend hours to accommodate as many families as possible. All treatments are provided by doctoral students under the direct supervision of a licensed clinical psychologist. There are two treatment teams for children and adolescents at our clinic, and clients are assigned based on the supervisor’s areas of expertise. Services will be held via telehealth, with the possibility of resuming in-person services once the health risk posed by COVID-19 has decreased.
Families who are interested in our services can call 215-951-1006 to schedule a phone screen, which will gather more details about the child/family’s concerns to determine if our clinic is a good fit. You also are welcome to call that number or email psydclinic@lasalle.edu if you have any questions or would like additional information related to our services. Finally, please feel free to share this information with any others who might be interested.

I'm excited to announce that the Office of Student Health Services established a partnership with Benephilly, a City of Philadelphia program, to provide free one-on-one help to enroll SDP families in public benefits, such as health insurance. The purpose of this partnership is to connect SDP families to needed community resources that benefit students’ health and educational outcomes.
A Benephilly navigator (Stacie Brown) is located at the School District of Philadelphia (440 N. Broad St.) every Wednesdays 9a-3p to help SDP families apply for public benefits. SDP families can register here to make an appointment. Parents/Caregivers who make an appointment should check-in at the F.A.C.E. Office Welcome Center at 440 N. Broad St. The navigator helps families with health insurance, prescription medication cost, groceries, property taxes, college cost, heat and other utilities. This service is open to ALL SDP families regardless of documentation status, immigration status, language spoken or citizenship. ALL families should be encouraged to make an appointment if they have a need. Translation services are available.
Please share this information with your team members, community partners and families! SDP's Health Insurance Resource Webpage. Flyers are available in all 9 District languages.
