All young people in Philadelphia have the skills and opportunity to succeed in college and career. We drive exceptional outcomes for all students by developing great teachers and building paths to college and career success.
The Philadelphia Postsecondary Success Program (PPSP) exists at the intersection of The Philadelphia Education Fund's goals. Since 2011, PPSP has supported 16 Philadelphia high schools in establishing cultures of college and career readiness through the initiatives noted below.
PPSP's work is made possible through the support and funding of CHUBB.
PPSP works at the systems (school) level to align resources that support college and career readiness, and identify areas of growth that align with the school’s existing postsecondary goals through a process called Asset Mapping. In collaboration with partner high schools across Philadelphia, we convene school leaders, program partners, and other key stakeholders to identify strengths and growth opportunities for college and career initiatives and monitor progress toward each school's specified goals.
PPSP convenes a team of secondary and postsecondary educators-- the PPSP Fellows-- who work together to align teaching practices at both levels by sharing strategies, and empowering Philadelphia's secondary and postsecondary educators and schools to support students along their path to college and career success.
