To become a member of PHICNA, please follow the steps and requirements outlined below:
Membership Requirements:
1. Training Completion
Successfully complete the Basic Competency Training Course for Infection Control Nurses.
A Certificate of Completion is required.
2. Application Process
Fill out the official PHICNA Membership Form.
Pay the Membership Application Fee of ₱400.00.
3. Supporting Documents
Submit any of the following as proof of designation:
Certificate of Employment (COE)
Letter of Endorsement
Appointment Letter as the designated Infection Control Nurse (ICN) or Link Nurse
4. Oath Taking
Take your Oath of Membership during the annual PHICNA meeting/convention.
Important Notes:
Certificates of Membership will be issued online only.
To maintain Active Membership, you must:
Attend the annual meeting during annual convention, or
Settle your Annual Dues of ₱500.00.
Members who fail to comply for more than one (1) year will be placed on Inactive Status.
If you applied for membership in previous years but have not completed the process, please ensure all requirements above are fulfilled.
Oath Taking Coordination:
To confirm your oath taking, email us:
A request to be scheduled during the upcoming annual meeting/convention in May.
Proof of accomplished membership form, payment, and required documents.
Incomplete submissions will not be scheduled for oath taking.
If you do not receive a confirmation email regarding your oath taking schedule before the annual meeting, please contact us to update your details.
Lost ID or Certificate:
For replacement requests, email us along with a notarized affidavit of loss.
